Sharada Devarasetty is a member of the Litigation Department and the Intellectual Property Group at Proskauer Rose. Sharada's practice concentrates on the analysis, protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, focuses primarily on litigating patent matters. Her practice also includes intellectual property due diligence in corporate finance deals.

Sharada received her JD, magna cum laude, and MS in molecular, cellular, developmental biology & genetics from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2007. She received a BA with distinction in biology and chemistry from Cornell University in 2003.

She joined the Joint Degree Program in Fall 2004, beginning her studies in the Law School. While at University of Minnesota Law School, Sharada attended the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property in Munich, Germany, and Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany, where she studied international corporate and intellectual property law. During the 2006-2007 school year, she served as President of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association and director of the Intellectual Property Moot Court. Sharada also worked as a research assistant to Professor Thomas Cotter analyzing antitrust issues.
