Professor Susan M. Wolf, JD, has been reappointed the Chair of the Consortium on Law and Values in Health, Environment & the Life Sciences and Director of the Joint Degree Program in Law, Health & the Life Sciences for another three-year renewable term, commencing July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2011.

Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost E. Thomas Sullivan congratulated Professor Wolf on her vast and legendary accomplishments and looks forward to the 10th anniversary conference and celebration of the Consortium's successes.

New Course Offerings from Center for Bioethics
The Center for Bioethics announced several new classes for Fall 2008. These courses will explore ethical issues relating to global health, patient's rights, and risk in contemporary health care.

Greg Cuomo has been named CFANS Associate Dean for Extension effective June 9.

Prof. Wilson Receives McKnight Award
Assistant Professor Elizabeth Wilson, PhD, has been named a 2008 recipient of the University of Minnesota's McKnight Land-Grant Professorship.

Prof. Sadowsky Receives Award
Mike Sadowsky, PhD (Professor, Department of Soil, Water, and Climate and Water Resources Science Faculty) received the 2008 Faculty CFANS Distinguished Diversity and Inclusion Award.
