| 2007-2008 APPLICATION DEADLINES | |||
| Joint Degree Program applicants should submit all required applications simultaneously, by the earliest
application deadline. Depending on the degree combination sought, this means applicants will submit applications to:
(1) the Law School; (2) the Graduate School, Medical School, or School of Public Health; and (3) the graduate program,
if applicable.
Mark on all applications: JOINT DEGREE PROGRAM APPLICANT or check the appropriate box. Contact the Joint Degree Program's office (612-625-0055) for assistance with the application process. |

LSAT: For test dates and other information about the test, visit the Law School Admissions Council's website at www.lsac.org GRE: The General Test is taken online and self-scheduled; Subject Test schedules and other information may be found on the Graduate Record Examination website at www.gre.org. | APPLICATION DEADLINE: October 15: Rolling application review begins. March 1: Final Deadline (Early application is advantageous.) FINANCIAL AID CONSIDERATION DEADLINE: Financial aid consideration is ongoing. To receive federal financial aid for law school you must be enrolled in law school during the first two weeks of classes in the cancel/add period. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. APPLICATION DEADLINE: Deadline dates vary by department. You should submit the Graduate School application at least six weeks before the department application deadline. please visit the website for information on specific departments. (For Joint Degree program, apply by the earliest due date among your applications.) See below for specific deadlines for the following disciplines: Conservation Biology Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology & Genetics Natural Resources Science and Management Pharmacology Science, Technology & Public Policy. FINANCIAL AID CONSIDERATION DEADLINE: January 25: Graduate fellowship nominations. Additional graduate financial aid and assistantships application deadlines vary by department. A student may decide while in the first or second year in either the Graduate School or the Law School to apply to the other degree program with the assurance that the cross-crediting of courses will be available. FINANCIAL AID CONSIDERATION DEADLINE: December 15: Most financial aid December 15: MacArthur scholars A student may decide while in the first year in Public Health or first or second year of Law School to apply to the other degree program with the assurance that the cross-crediting of courses will be available. APPLICATION DEADLINE: November 15: Final Deadline (Submission period: June 1– Nov. 15) The initial application is sent to the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS). After a preliminary screening, the Medical School sends promising applicants a supplemental application. FINANCIAL AID CONSIDERATION DEADLINE: Every January the Medical School sends out financial aid packets/applications for aid and scholarships to new students and returning students to be returned by March 1. Other financial aid deadlines vary. A student may decide while in the first or second year in either the Law School or Medical School to apply to the other degree program with the assurance that cross-crediting of courses will be available.
